Mulled Wine




1 cup apple juice

3 cinnamon sticks (plus extra for serving)

2 tsp nutmeg

1 teaspoon whole cloves

1 teaspoon allspice

1 750ml bottle of Red Wine

1-2 tbsp maple syrup to taste

 

 


In a saucepan, combine the wine, sugar, apple juice, fruit and spices.

Warm in the saucepan over low heat and allow to simmer for 1 hour (2 hours on a slow cooker or crockpot on a low heat).

Strain before serving.

Serve with Dehydrated orange garnish and cinnamon sticks. Enjoy warm!
