Easy Breakfast Oats

With the Microsafe® jug, making any quantity of porridge is easy. Cook and just pour into your breakfast bowl. Then, unlike with messy, sticky pots, you simply rinse the jug. Follow the packet instructions or our easy recipe.

Serves 1.

Preparation time 1 minute. Cooking time about 2 minutes.

1/3 cup traditional rolled oats
2/3 cup water
or 1 cup milk for a richer porridge

Put into the jug and stir. Microwave, without lid, on high for 1½ to 2 minutes for very soft oats. Stir in jug. Remove from microwave. Let rest for 2 minutes. Serve.

For a family sized quantity:

Preparation time 1 minute. Cooking time about 3 minutes.

1 cup oats
2 cups water
or 2 ½ cups milk for a richer porridge

Put into the jug and stir. Microwave, without lid, on high for 3 to 3½ minutes for very soft oats. Stir in jug.

Remove from microwave. Let rest for 2 minutes. Serve.
