DIY Dehydrated Oranges





Enjoy the last of the winter chill with oranges that are in season. Use this recipe to garnish your meals, garnish your drinks, create natural decorations or used in potpourri. We’ll be using this for mulled wine. See the recipe here.

 

What you’ll need: 

Navel oranges

(Optional: coconut sugar)


Preheat oven to 95C

Slice the oranges in evenly sized slices

(Optional: coat the oranges in coconut Sugar)

Place the oranges on lined baking tray then place into oven and bake for two hours and turn midway.

Check on the oranges after 2 hours to see if completely dry. if still holding moisture, turn oranges over and continue to bake in 30 minute intervals until entirely dry.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before storing in Decor Bamboo Canister with the lid tightly fitted.
