 | Asparagus with Butter and Lemon Sauce | Serves 2.
Preparation time 2 minutes. Cooking time 3 to 5 minutes.
We used the Tellfresh® Microsafe® 1.6 litre oblong storer with steaming rack.
300 grams asparagus with stalks trimmed to fit into container
45 grams butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
| Place asparagus on steaming rack in storer. Pour ½ cup hot water over asparagus. Put lid on storer with red vent open. Microwave on high (3 minutes for crisp asparagus, 5 minutes for soft asparagus).
Remove from microwave. Let rest for 2 minutes.
Remove asparagus from storer and let drain on rack.
Serve.
Heat butter with lemon juice in microwave for 1 minute or until bubbling.
Serve over asparagus.
